A Bridge To Wisemans Cove is a really good book, it is a really good book for the ages of well us really.
Some of the characters are really cool, I don’t like Bruce and Aunt Beryl they are really stupid and mean to Carl and Harly. They need to be less strick to the its mean.
I think Carl is a really nice kid to people and to his brother i think it is really sweet and so nice to them.

I think they were probably brought up like that. I don’t think they know how to be any other way. They probably had parents who behaved exactly the same way. Sadly these types of behaviours often get passed on from generation to generation.

I realy like this book. When I first started to read it I thought it would be a realy bad book. It has surprised me so far, I usually can’t put it down. My favourite character is Carl so far. There is something about him I like :).

Carl really cares for Harley, hes so nice 🙂 Carl is not like a typical Matt he really cares for people. Joy is really nice and understanding with Harley

Yes i love this book it is very intersting, but i feel sorry for Harley and Carl with there mother leaving them. I dislike Beryl she is disgusting and wants everyone to work for her and give her the money.Bruce is disgusting. The characters are pretty good there is some really nice ones and then there is just some which are mean and nasty. Justine is a lovely lady and she is super good for Carl and they are so cute together, they are my favourite two in the book.

I totally agree Maddy. I think the difference between me liking characters and not, is how selfish they are. Some of them look after others, and some just care about themselves and take everything they can.

Yeah, the characters are well written, the ‘bad’ characters are still well written and very believable. The sad thing is that so many people are actually like Beryl & Bruce.
