A Haiku is a style of Japanese  poetry with 3 lines and 17 syllables.

The first line has 5 syllables, the second line has 7 syllables, and the third line has 5 syllables.

Here is an example:

Haikus are easy

But sometimes they don’t make sense

Refridgerator

Here is another example:

Falling to the ground

I watch a leaf settle down

In a bed of brown

Now have a go at writing your own!
